I first started training in Nam Pai Chuan in 2009 at the age of 27. Right from day one I knew what I had stumbled across was special. I was travelling from Marton to Feilding twice a week to train and by the time I was a green belt I was very passionate about the art and I was travelling an additional three days to train in Palmerston North. I kept training five days a week for three or so years before I moved to Wanganui in 2012 when I started teaching our club at Keith Street School Hall.

My love of teaching is just as important to me as my love of learning and training. I find nothing more rewarding than watching students grow and develop their confidence and skill within NPC especially when I can see their own passion for the art grow over the years of their training. This is the thing that keeps encouraging me to share the art of Nam Pai Chuan Kung Fu.
