Adult’s Kung Fu

Learning Shaolin Kung Fu (13+)

Our adult classes are mixed ability, and include teenagers from the age of 13. Many adults want to improve their fitness but find that going to the gym or playing sport is not fulfilling enough.

Our Kung Fu classes provide a focused, yet fun environment where our students learn a traditional Chinese martial art which provides mental and physical skills relevant to modern life.

Lots of people come to Shaolin NPC for benefits such as;

  • Improving fitness and mental wellbeing
  • Making friends or participate in social activity
  • Increase focus and stamina
  • Build confidence and self esteem
  • Learn self defence or deal with bullying
  • Reduce stress and get some ‘me time’

Shaolin Kung Fu is broad which means you will get a sample of all types of martial skills compared to some of the specialized martial arts. This means that every student has an opportunity to excel at an aspect of Kung Fu. We build the martial arts toolkits for our students and they choose which tools to use.

Our adults class students and participants are taught

  • General exercise and strength training
  • Fitness and cardio work out
  • Kung Fu punching and kicking techniques
  • Chinese wrestling, throwing, and locking
  • Traditional Shaolin Forms, weapons and animals
  • Sparring and combat drills
  • Self defence technique and strategy
  • Pad based technique training

Come along and get involved today. Traditional Martial Arts provide mental and physical health benefits in a fun and safe learning environment.
